Happy Easter!

This Easter the kids and I went up to Reno to visit with my family and friends.  We started the week off at the park for some Easter fun.  The egg hunt was sectioned off for different age groups which made it a lot easier for little one, like Baylee, to find some eggs without being trampled.  Here's some great shots of all the kids finding their eggs.

More fun at the cookie decorating table.
Here's a great group pictures of the cousins eating their masterpiece.

Back at Grandma's house we let the kids decorate their own eggs.  Too many colors to choose from, and not that many eggs.  A couple little stickers to add that special touch, and voila.

It's Springtime

Well, it's springtime, which means lots of work on the house & yard.  Yesterday Matt and I took apart the old-broken-beyond-repair hot tub and now have a nice little sitting area.

Here's a before picture

Notice the twisted gutter?  That's another project we'll have to tackle thanks to heavy snow sliding off the metal roof.

At the Fire Station

The kids seemed pretty excited when I told them that we were going to visit the Fire Station with all their friends. But once the tour started Alivia complained the whole time asking to go back to the van.  Aaron was a little better, but was being shy and wasn't joining in on all the fun.  They didn't even want the cute little fireman hats that were being passed out. Oh, and Baylee, well she just wanted to run!  I have a couple pictures, but not as many as I'd like because the kids where being stinkers.
They were much more excited about heading over to the park after the tour.  It was a beautiful sunny day, we ate lunch and had a great time running around will all our friends.

Happy Birthday Aaron!

Today is Aaron's 3rd Birthday!  He is such a little guy, it's difficult not to compare him to his sister.  Aaron loves playing with cars and making airplanes out of his lego blocks.  He plays well with his sisters, but he would rather be in the company of his big brother.  Aaron is very sweet and loving, but can also be very stubborn and not willing to share at times.  He has decided he doesn't need naps anymore, and will come out of his room after a little while and ask if he can play.  How can I say no to that sweet face?

Happy Birthday Alivia

Today is Alivia's 3rd Birthday.  I can hardly believe she is three years old already.  She is so full of life, always singing and dancing around the house. She is constantly talking and double checking that I am paying full attention to her.  She tells me she loves me and likes me all the time.  Alivia is so smart, she knows her ABC's and is starting to write her letters.  She also showed me the other day how she can pour herself a cup of milk (without spilling).  She loves being a big sister and is great at sharing with everyone.
